Armadillos
 In March 2003, Andrew Carrillo partnered with Johnny Espinoza to open
Armadillos restaurant at 1426 McCullough.
With their extensive professional experience and enough of their own
equity, the restaurateurs obtained financing for their start-up
venture, first, from the South Texas Business Fund (formerly known as
the San Antonio Local Development Company) and, then, from the
Community Development Loan Fund, Inc. to remodel and open the
restaurant.
With a popular menu of hamburgers and Mexican food, Armadillos has
become a very busy place for both lunch and dinner. The CDLF is
pleased to have been able to assist these young entrepreneurs to start
their own successful small business.
