 Davies Aiyewa, originally from Nigeria, recently opened his own
pharmacy at the Village at Ingram Park just across 410 from Ingram
Park Mall.
Watching companies, such as Vencor Pharmacy, Kmart, and Albertsons
pull out of the pharmacy market, Davies decided to utilize his
experience (over 10 years in the pharmacy business) and open his own
pharmacy, offering personal service with quick response time. His
advantage over other pharmacies will
be his patient counseling, a very important topic in the pharmacy
industry due to concern over patients’ mixing drugs inappropriately.
He offers his customers what he calls a monthly “drug utilization
review” and will personally call new patients to ensure their
satisfaction with his service.
